The first festival of classical music in the history of not only the region but also Ukraine called Kamianka Music Fest was held on 9 June in Kamianka, marking the beginning of a new cultural tradition. In order to preserve and popularise the cultural heritage of Ukraine and the Kamianka region, it is planned to hold a big music show every year, gathering professional musicians who will perform world classical hits in the open air.

The partners of the festival are the Centre for Cultural Initiatives “Responsible Future” and the Cherkasy Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
