The Tomakivska AH was formed in December 2016 on the territory, where once the Cossacks lived. After amalgamation the village began to revive.

The hromada is currently completing the reconstruction of the hostel for internally displaced persons with the support of GIZ. The village of Vysoke is actively working on the restoration of the water supply system absent in the houses since the late 90’s. A kindergarten was repaired in the village of Preobrazhenka, and Tomakovka village is developing its musical school, buying new instruments and supporting the musical band known throughout the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
