Another amalgamated hromada may appear in the Karlivka Rayon of the Poltava Oblast.

Currently, there is only the Lannivska AH in the Karlivka Rayon, which in less than a year after the first elections has shown remarkable successes.

The first meeting of the initiative group was held with the participation of experts from the Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion. Tetyana Pautova, local finance expert, and Hennadiy Fasiy, municipal service expert in the Poltava LGDC, told the audience about the benefits of voluntary amalgamation, successful practices of AHs of the Poltava Oblast.

Now the ball is in the court of the deputies of the village council, who must finally legitimise the beginning of the AH establishment around Martynivka. The next session of the Martynivka village council should take the final decision and invite surrounding settlements to amalgamate.
