The Kiptivska rural amalgamated hromada decided to reconstruct a rural health post into an outpatient clinic instead of starting a construction of a healthcare facility from scratch. They made major repairs of the premises and fulfilled internal work, carried out communications, arranged doctors’ offices. Besides, the AH finished the construction of a comfortable housing for the family doctor with a modern repair and purchased a new car. External works are now under completion.

The hromada invested its own funds and infrastructure subvention funds into the reconstruction of a healthcare facility.

“The Kiptivska AH demonstrates by its decision to convert the old rural health post into a modern outpatient clinic the ability to use resources – time, finances and infrastructure – reasonably. As a result, hromada residents will be provided with high-quality medical services,” commented Iryna Kudryk, director of the Chernihiv Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
