The youth of the Liubarska settlement AH initiates the creation of a number of youth institutions that should promote the development and growth of the hromada and attract schoolchildren, students and working young people to active community work.

“The hromada needs young people's ideas. We do not have the right to restrict ourselves only to restoration of the infrastructure, because it is useless without active people,” emphasised Olena Severyn, specialist of Liubarska AH.

The Liubarska AH hosted a training on “Youth Policy Development Projects and Programmes”, initiated by the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre, established by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion. More than 25 participants of the training worked out a number of ideas and projects, that will form the basis of the youth space development programme of the hromada.

The next step to strengthen the youth movement in the AH will be the creation of a youth council and implementation of the AH participatory budget. The Liubarska AH is currently implementing the Participatory Budget with the NGO “Western Ukrainian Resource Centre”, with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.
