According to DESPRO studies, most villagers are satisfied with sewage systems in their yards. “Although it is most often about an outhouse toilet and a pit for liquid wastewater, few people experience the pressure from the environmental inspection, village council or neighbours. As a result, there are pollution, deterioration of groundwater quality, risks to human health,” says Vyacheslav Sorokovskyi, DESPRO expert.
