Veselynivska AH repairs roads on its own for the first time

Promising, progressive, capable and ambitious Veselynivska amalgamated hromada is dealing with the road issue in its territory on its own.

“Decentralisation offers great opportunities for development, in particular, of the communal enterprises. At the expense of the infrastructure subvention, our hromada has acquired a number of communal machinery for the maintenance of roads. Last year we bought a motor grader, two small wheeled tractors, a mover and a paving compactor, and this year we have purchased a heater planer of UAH 900 thousand. We are waiting for another small wheeled tractor. This was the first time that the Veselynivska AH is able to repair roads by itself – without contractors, overpayments and queues,” commented Oleksandr Rumyantsev, head of the Veselynivska AH.
