It is already for the third time that DeHack hackathon series have been gathering enthusiasts of solutions’ development for AHs. This time the hackathon will take place in Odesa.
The aim of the hackathon is to create new IT projects or specific software that will serve as the starting point for addressing the problems that AHs encountered during the decentralisation process, namely the issues of local ecology, tourism development, local finance control, receipt and processing of citizens’ complaints. This is just a small list of issues you can create your project on.
The participants will be supported by experienced mentors: IT professionals, AH representatives, business experts, civil society and media. Each of them will help teams in developing their project.
The event will be held on 14-16 September at the address: 2/6 Observatornyi lane, Atom Space, Odesa.
Detailed information of the event is available on the website www.dehack.today, and registration is possible by the link. Hackathon news and updates can be followed in Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1111906855633413/
It should be noted that Odesa event will be the third stage of DeHack series. Lviv was the first city to host DeHack, and the second gathering took place in Dnipro. The final fourth event will be organised in October 2018.
The event is organised by the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, a multi-donor action of the European Union and its member states Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Poland and Sweden.
