First in Ukraine “House of Protected Elders” opened in Semenivska AH

The Semenivska AH in the Poltava Oblast opened a communal institution “House of Protected Elders”. This is the first such facility in Ukrainian AH.

The institution was established by the joint efforts of the Semenivska AH and the Poltava Oblast State Administration. The funds were raised from several sources: the SFRR, the Semenivska AH budget and deputy funds.

The U-LEAD with Europe Programme contributed with advisory services, provided to the Semenivska AH officials during the preparation of the project for SFRD’s funding. Now the work on writing an AH development strategy is under way.

The Poltava Local Government Development Centre joined the celebration and presented bactericidal lamps to the institution.
