There are still five rayons in the Poltava Oblast with no AHs formed so far.

The Zinkiv Rayon is still the largest rayon not involved in the reform. The epic story of its first AH formation with the centre in Opishnya has been on for more than a year. The potentially capable hromada could not get consent to a voluntary amalgamation with its neighbours. The reasons are the same as in other rayons.

The Poltava Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion, provided information and counseling assistance to the deputies of the Opishnya Settlement Council in their desire to set up an AH.

At last, a small village of Mali Budyshcha gave its consent to voluntary amalgamation with Opishnya.
