The newly established Kolomyiska urban hromada is the first hromada in the Carpathian region, which has used the mechanism of joining cities of oblast significance.
The villages of Tovmachyk, Sadzhavka, Sheparivtsi, and Ivanivtsi voluntarily joined the city of Kolomyia. This decision was voted by the deputies of the Kolomyia City Council and village councils.
From now on, Kolomyia and four suburban villages are jointly responsible for the development of the territory.
