The Olevska and Lubarska AHs in the Zhytomyr Oblast have passed a contest-based selection for participation in the project “Participative Budget as Development Tool of Hromadas” which is implemented with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and have started awareness-raising activities and trainings for their residents.

“Participative practices make it possible to win the creative potential of citizens to find solutions to the problems of a hromada. Also, participative budgets enable us to activate the residents of AHs and to identify the current development priorities of hromadas”, says Dmytro Klymenko, communication adviser of the Zhytomyr Local Government Development Centre.
