Heads of hromadas, deputy heads and specialists on land issues of Lviv Oblast's amalgamated hromadas visited the Zhydychinska, Tsumanska and Prylisnenska AHs of the Volyn Oblast.

Andriy Hnyda, legal adviser of the Lviv Local Government Development Centre, accompanied the delegation in the study tour “Usage of forest resources as an instrument of economic development in AH”.

“We managed to gather some extremely useful experience of forestry enterprises’ operations, as they are the largest taxpayers to hromadas’ local budgets. PIT of persons working at forestry enterprises is paid at the place of employees’ residence. Thus, state-owned enterprises have effectively distributed revenues among hromadas”, says Andriy Hnyda.

The study tour was organised by the Lviv, Volyn and Rivne LGDCs, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion.
