In Ivano-Frankivsk, a kick-off press conference was held within the framework of the URBforDAN project with participation of mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv.

The URBforDAN project is designed to introduce changes in the management of urban forests of the Danube region and ecosystem service use.

The project envisages:

• arrangement of children's space,
• installation of a service station for bicycle riders,
• restoration of pedestrian and cycling tracks,
• installation of an observation deck and a parking area.

Project implementation period: 01 June 2018 – 30 November 2020. The main partner of the project is the city of Ljubljana (Slovenia). The Executive Committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council is a Project partner in Ukraine.
