“Rural outpatient clinics are not the only state contribution to the rural areas’ development. I will initiate the allocation of UAH 3 billion next year to connect rural schools to the Internet, modernise hub schools, purchase school buses,” said President Petro Poroshenko during the work of the Regional Development Council.

“For if we lay the Internet for telemedicine in rural healthcare, it's obvious that both the village council and a school should definitely have a high-speed Internet,” he added.

The President also stressed the importance of increasing the subvention for inclusive education. “I insist on increasing the amount of subvention for inclusive education to one billion hryvnias, since in general the issues of inclusive education started to be solved only now, in the last 3-4 years. Before that, these children, who are equal members of society, were left to the merсу of fate. And today, the Government finally cares about the problems of barrier-free approach, pays attention to peculiarities of education. And of course, we must ensure the continuation of this course, and this amount will almost double in comparison with the current year,” said Petro Poroshenko.
