The Cabinet of Ministers has redistributed UAH 1 billion to pay for services provided by healthcare facilities that employ family doctors, therapists and pediatricians. The required decree was adopted at the Government meeting on 24 July 2019.

More than 28 million Ukrainians have already selected their family doctor, therapist or pediatrician for their children. Due to the very high pace of signing agreements with doctors, it became necessary to ensure additional funding for the National Health Service to secure guaranteed payments for primary healthcare services.
