The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the state power organization, local self-government, regional and urban development has set up a permanent working group on decentralization implementation in Ukraine.

«The MinRegion welcomes the establishment of such a group which is expected to become a forum for thorough development of the bills necessary for decentralization to continue. The bills must be passed by the end of November. Thus, the deadlines are quite tight. It is believed that creating the working group of such a level will make it possible to finalise, register and pass all the bills that are important for reform participants, the most important of them have already been placed at the sites of the MinRegion and Decentralisation», - commented Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
