The local council deputy withdraws from a mandate: Are the elections necessary again?
Issues of deputies’ early displacement are regulated by Section 41 of Book 4 of the Election Code of Ukraine.
Everything depends on the stage the person, having run for a seat in the local council, decides to withdraw from a mandate, as well as on the system, being the basis of the elections held in the hromada. All the issues are detailed in the material by Vira Kozina, a legal expert.
