After all local elections among the most topical issues for local self-government representatives there is the issue of the so called «deputy guarantees» for persons, having held elective posts at local self-government bodies and being unable to return to the previous work place.

The publication considers the essence of the guarantees envisaged by article 33 of the Law of Ukraine On the Status of Local Council Deputies, the persons eligible for them, the procedure and mandatory conditions of getting such guarantees.
