The 10-th anniversary all-Ukrainian competition of the most efficient local development innovations has been announced.

Ukraine has been successfully implementing a complicated reform of the local self-government and territorial power arrangement, step by step applying efficient European local democracy mechanisms on its territories, particularly, the competition «The Best Practices of Local Self-Government» which is already popular among the national self-government activists.

Organisers have traditionally offered three topics, being of the greatest interest for the local self-government in 2021.

The first topic covers the practices, aimed at the hromada solidarity, its residents’ consolidation, the new identity formation. The second topic is related to organizing the system of providing medical services locally within the health care system reform. The third topic refers to realizing strategic development projects as only grounded strategic planning will ensure sustainable development for hromadas, their predicted future and welfare increase.
