It is too early to talk about decentralization final successes or failures as there are a lot of important and hard decisions to make, - Vyacheslav Nehoda

The success of the local self-government and territorial power arrangement reform, having been made for the previous years, can’t be denied. It is testified to by the municipality residents’ support of decentarlisation and the international partners’ high evaluation. However, it is too early to talk about the potential outcome of the reform as a lot depends on decisions about Constitutional amendments, on passing the Municipal Code, on the way the future decisions will be implemented in all the levels.

It was emphasized by Vyacheslav Nehoda, Deputy Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, during the panel discussion «The local self-government reform completion. A success or a failure?» of the VIII All Ukrainian local self-government forum.
