Currently the Kuyalnyk municipality is working over a new project: residents want to restore the memory of their fellow countryman – philanthropist Yevhen Chikalenko, having contributed to the village development greatly, created newspapers and built churches. So, the municipality has decided to open a library, to erect a monument to the philanthropist and develop a tourist route to the village of Pereshory, where he was born.

The Kuyalnyk municipality has already become a finalist of Our Municipality competition and hopes to win it.
