During a meeting of the Expert Working Group chaired by Deputy Minister Oleksii Riabykin, new infrastructure projects in several regions of Ukraine were recommended for funding.
The Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories is continuing to select projects under the Ukraine Recovery Programme III (Tranche B), which is funded by the state budget through a loan from the European Investment Bank.

‘We continue to systemically support communities through infrastructure projects that meet their actual needs: from education and healthcare to security and critical infrastructure. It is important that all decisions are made transparently and in line with clear priorities, in partnership with the European Investment Bank,’ said Oleksii Riabykin.

The meeting recommended the following projects for funding:

During a previous meeting of the Commission, the following were selected for funding: 5 projects in Kirovohrad region, 12 projects in Kyiv region, 7 in Ivano-Frankivsk, 5 in Cherkasy region, 7 projects in Zhytomyr region, and 5 in Vinnytsia region, 14 projects in Poltava region, 9 projects in Volyn region, and 3 projects in Zakarpattia region.

Support was also given to 76 projects in frontline regions: in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Kherson regions.
The Working Group continues to review the projects.
For reference: communities first submit applications via DREAM. The system prioritises the projects, with each receiving a score and a ranking. Following this, the regional state administrations determine the importance of the projects for their regions. Next, the projects are reviewed by an expert working group under the Ministry for Development, which includes representatives of Central Government, local government associations, and the public sector. Following this, the finalised list of projects is submitted to the European Investment Bank for approval.

The Ukraine Recovery Programme III is aimed to restore social infrastructure in the regions affected by the war, as well as to support communities hosting internally displaced persons.
