At the strategic meeting on sectoral decentralisation in the area of local budgets, the matrix of reform, operational tasks and objectives were determined for 2017. The meeting was initiated by the Ministry of Regional Development jointly with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health, representatives of the Project Office for Sectoral Decentralisation, and the EDGE Project.

Within the framework of task planning, there were proposals developed regarding the financial, budget decentralisation, with due consideration of peculiarities of the reform in education, culture, and health care sector.
