The sequence of receipt of state-owned land by amalgamated hromadas has become known. The State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre presented the “Plan-schedule of transfer of land plots to the ownership of amalgamated hromadas in 2018” (DOWNLOAD).

As it is known, on 31 January 2018 the Government approved a resolution on the transfer of state-owned agricultural land plots to the communal ownership of AHs, which allows land-based decentralisation without resorting to legislative changes.

665 AHs have been established in Ukraine, with about 759 thousand hectares of state-owned agricultural land that can be transferred to communal ownership.

The StateGeoCadastre initiated the process of transferring land from 1 February 2018. A special portal (otg.land.gov.ua) was created to cover the state of land transfer to AHs, and a hot line (0 800 502 528) was introduced to provide consultations on this issue from the experts of the StateGeoCadastre.
