Representative of the Donetsk Local Government Development Centre, established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, became the guest of the live “Hrani” (“Edges”) programme in the editorial office of the regional publication “Znamya Industriyi”.

Serhiy Ivakhnin, local finance adviser of the Donetsk LGDC, was answering the questions of the presenter and the audience. He described how the local self-government reform is moving in the Donetsk Oblast; spoke on the financial capability of hromadas and its impact on the amalgamation process; and told whether the law facilitating amalgamation around cities of oblast significance would provide an impetus to the Donetsk Oblast.
