The relevant decision was made during the coordination meeting of the heads of 26 AHs of the region. The main goal of the AH Association is hromadas’ cooperation and protection of their interests.

“Today, more and more AHs are being formed in Ukraine – and it's natural, when they want to work together, develop initiatives important for all, protect their rights and express their stance at the state level," said Serhiy Slynko, director of the Cherkasy Local Government Development Centre (established with the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme and MinRegion of Ukraine). “We hope that this consolidation process will promote both the development of existing hromadas and the strengthening of the dynamics of formation of new AHs in the region.”
